Gili Nanggu Snorkeling Tour
Snorkelling is one of the easiest and enjoyable things to do while you're
staying in Lombok. No experience is needed and you don’t need to be
particularly fit. The Gilli Islands are the perfect place to try
snorkelling. Palm fringed beaches, white sand and all the marine life just
meters from the shoreline.
The
“Gilis” (Gili means small island)
This small
remote island is situated off of south-west Lombok. This is an ideal
destination for snorkelling. Nanggu is an absolute water paradise
with white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. Come here and
experience the underwater world amongst thousands of tropical fish and
various sea creatures. If you are lucky you may even see some sea turtles!
Make sure you bring your underwater cameras as it is an experience you
will want to capture forever! You can take a day trip or spend a couple
nights there. We
will get you to the islands via our own Sampan or traditional fishing boat
which provides the added safety of accompanying you while you are
snorkelling.
All
our trips are guided by Lombok locals which provides much needed income
and expert knowledge on local areas. No experience is necessary and all
trips include a complete safety briefing.
Experience tropical waters teeming with fish, lap up the sunshine on a
white sand beach and explore the Gilis with Adventure Lombok.
Gili Islands Full Day Snorkeling Tour
Take the 90 minute trip by sampan , a traditional
fishing boat, from Senggigi Beach to Gili Nanggu. This part of the
coast is worth the trip in itself as you pass bay after bay of beautiful
beaches before heading south west to the Gilis. After exploring the teeming
waters of “Gili Nanggu” enjoy lunch at Gili Nanggu restaurant.
Spend the day on the fringing coral of Gili Rengit and Gili Nanggu. There
is plenty of time to do a little sight seeing on the islands or to take a
break in shadow while sun bathing and enjoy the island. Return to Senggigi
Beach in the late afternoon.
